Ridetech’s performance tubular control arms outperform stamped OEM stock control arms through precision engineering, significant geometry updates and use of stronger / high tech materials.
Using precision CNC bent tubing for superior accuracy and fixture welded to exacting tolerances, the Ridetech StrongArms bolt directly in the factory location with included new hardware for a quick and easy install.
Revisions to geometry offer significant improvement in dynamic caster and camber curves to provide dramatic improvements in handling and control by making best use of modern performance tires.
Our new stock coil spring StrongArms provide an adjustable ride height to fine tune the stance by adding or removing the included spacers beneath the coil-spring. This typically allows fine tuning of the ride height by just over an inch to account for weight variances, as well as a wide range of tire and wheel combinations.
Compatible with stock style coil spring or Ridetech StreetGrip springs
Must use Ridetech Sway Bar Part # 11369120
Development – StrongArms™ are developed by Ridetech® in Jasper, Indiana on an actual running, driving vehicle. This allows us to properly address ALL fitment and performance issues. It also allows us to document an installation, demonstrate the installation to our sales techs and dealers, and allows ongoing evaluation of the performance of the StrongArms™
Design – We think the best way to design any component is to keep it simple. That is why Strong Arms™ are designed with as few components as possible. They are manufactured in house on our 4 axis tubing bender that allows precise, repeatable bends that no other machine can achieve. We can create elegant tubing bends that would otherwise require several separate welded components. The perimeter of the StrongArm is contoured to allow maximum wheel clearance and turning radius.
Components – Powder coated in a satin black finish and completely assembled with ball joints and bushings. To reduce deflection and stiction from the suspension movement Injection Molded Delrin Bushings are used, which are also impregnated with Teflon to eliminate the need for lubrication.
Geometry – Properly designed control arms will add more positive caster (without a pile of shims) and will position the wheel in the wheel opening for maximum clearance. Ball joint angles are repositioned to prevent binding.
Adjustability – Stance is everything. To acquire the stance YOU WANT we lowered the spring pocket and include spring shims allowing you to fine tune the stance up to an additional 1″ drop.
