Level 7 Motorsports was started in 2001 with no more than a desire to build cars. I was a very young 18 years old when I got my business license and I had no idea where it would take me. I will start this story a little earlier though. When I was 5 years old my father bought me my first dirtbike and it began in me a passion for anything mechanical. My father was always into hot rods and motorcycles, but he never would have imagined the seed he planted in me. Riding my motorcycles and fixing them as a kid was was everything to me. From the time I got off the bus, it was all I ever wanted to do. At age 14 my father and I went together and I bought my first truck. It was a fixer-upper to say the least. Over the next year my dad and I worked together to make it something I could be proud of. We fixed all of the rust and repainted it, replaced the suspension, wheels and tires, went through the motor, and put a new stereo in it. During that process I learned a lot from my dad, but it just made me want to learn even more. I can remember subscribing to a number of magazines and reading them all from cover to cover. I would go to the library and check out all kinds of car books. I was amazed at the process of fixing cars, making them more valuable, and most of all making them better! The more I read the more I wanted to try things. I dreamed of buying a car and making it faster or buying a truck and making it more capable offroad. Well, I soon learned that all of this costs money. I sold that first truck and made a little money in the process. From there I would go on to buy, fix up, and sell 24 cars and trucks over 6 years. Everything I know about cars is from pure passion and experience. My business operated part time while I worked in the collision industry until the summer of 2011. I had a couple great customers and I was at the point of being overwhelmed with requests to work on their vehicles. That summer we built our current building and I officially opened the doors in January 2012. With huge thanks to our loyal customers we continue to build some great vehicles that have been featured in magazines and on websites across the internet. We strive to give our customers the best by pouring ourselves into each project.
